It seems to me that the Brooklyn Nets' biggest mistake will be to draft for 'need' than potential. It's obvious that we need a backup center or starting PF. We know that starting PF isn't in this draft but the backup centers are. But why waste picks on backups? The Nets are now in a marquee market and are a playoff bound team that will draw veteran backups. The Nets need to draft someone that can become like a Damian Lillard type value not a career bench warmer that won't really help until the last year of their rookie contract in spot minutes. Joel Pryzbilla, and especially Earl Barron can be had with the vet minimum to fill in that backup center position Ledo is 6'6" and only 19 and will probably grow into a 6'8" SF frame who can stretch the floor for Lopez and D-Will in their prime. More importantly he can be a top player in this league.
Get him some a good trainer. Let him learn from Iso-Joe and let's go. He can take Wallace's spot at SF in a couple of years if we don't trade Wallace before then. There are many comparisons of Ricky Ledo to Kevin Durant! We can't pass him up!
Look at him battle with John Wall.
