The Nets have a solid base, and while we do have depth, there are a few areas where we can improve. I don't think we need to, or should, make a huge deal, but there are some smart veterans who will be available.
Antawn Jamison makes sense for a number of reasons.
He might be willing to play for the minimum. He did last year in LA, and this is almost as big a market, with a better opportunity to become part of the offense.
He brings scoring, rebounding, toughness and intelligence to the forward position. Previously, whether it was Humphries, Blatche, Evans or Wallace we had to settle for just one of those at a time.
