Let's make this short and sweet. The Nets season is over and it was an awful disappointment. Joe Johnson's plantar fascitis apparently kept him from playing Game 7, and Deron William's cowardice apparently kept him from shooting. Joakim Noah was unstoppable. You know what, I'm just gonna stop thinking about this.
PJ Carlesimo is gone.
Net Income believes it (if Net Income even EXISTS), and every other die hard here believes it. It took too long to see more of Blatche, it took too long for most adjustments to take place, in general.
PJ was, admittedly, hampered. Using Avery's (seemingly aloof) coaching staff, and Avery's playbook. The offense was laughable. 3 guys with the ability to score 25 points and no idea how to put the ball in the hole, and even sometimes putting their fate in the horror show that is Reggie Evans.
But enough is enough.
Mike Fratello knows the Nets top to bottom. He is always telling us how he would operate the team as part of the broadcast. A career .549 winning percentage, respected around the league and all the players know him from his work on TNT. They are going to love playing for this guy and play hard for him.
There's going to be a lot of names thrown about when PJ Carlesimo is relieved of duty in a few days. But none will make more sense than the Czar.
