I can't tell you how many times im in a conversation about basketball and I always say that Brook Lopez is a top 5center in the League, then I begin to get yelled at by the people in the conversation saying that "B-Lo sucks he's a terrible player and he doesn't belong in the NBA, and he is injury prone". I don't understand why they would say this, he is having one of his best seasons of his career all across the board and only had one major in jury. These are his stats 18.8 (19) points per game, 7. 20 rebound per game, and 1.0 assists per game, with a efficiency rating of +19.58, he made the All Rookie 1st team in 2009 and was an NBA all-star this year. But when you tell them about the stats and his accomplishments they still say "forget the stats he still sucks" most of this time this is ignorant Knicks fans but this is mostly all NBA fans.My question to you guys is why is this? Is it because he is awkward when he is on the offensive end of the floor ?Is it because he is not the athletic dunker Blake Griffin is? Is he not as quick as most players? Is he not as animated as most players in the NBA like most nets are. Please let me know how you feel on this topic and how you respond to the Brook Lopez Haters.
