Alright, so I'm curious, what would be YOUR ideal rotation set-up.
Here's the way I'd like to see it:
I'd want the guards trading off time at the 1 and 2 so: Deron and JJ start. CJ comes in for one of them towards the end of the 1st. Keep CJ and (Let's say Deron) in at the start of the 2nd then midway through let MarShon come in for the starter. Rotate them in and out one by one, and throw in Tyshawn when you need a little extra push at the point.
The frontcourt is a little more tricky. I'd say do something similar with them to what I laid out above. Start with Gerald, Blatche and Lopez. Throw Bogans in at Small Forward when we need to, and maybe give Mirza a chance at the 3 as well. When Lopez needs to come out (probably at the end of the 1st), let Blatche move up to the 5 and throw Reggie in. Blatche will probably need rest midway through the 2nd. Throw Hump in at Center for the rest of the half to keep the energy up (even if he plays like an idiot sometimes, maybe an opposing big man can knock some sense into him that he actually needs to think?). Maybe start the second half with Mirza at the 4 with the starters and see how that plays out?
What do you all think?
