People keep talking about the Front Court and lack of offensive prowess that Evans/Hump/Tele/Wallace are contributing to the team. I think the real problem for the team is not necessarily the PF position but our infamous Brooklyn Backcourt. Unfortunately there is not much we can do with this dynamic duo but let them continue to shoot and HOPE they get their chemistry and flow back to par. I do not believe adding another fragmented piece will be the answer to this team's lack of offensive production. This team is clearly not a championship contender TODAY.
Unless we bring in a person to unify this team and bring some heart back into Brooklyn there will be no reason to find a stronger back/front/perimeter player that is slightly above average. And if we do not find that player in this current season, I think TIME will find that leader we have been searching for amongst our current roster. Marshon has it in his eyes to be that player but he's still too raw to be anything more. Or getting a strong coach to unify this team with Discipline and Heart.
Nets need a "fear no one but yourself" mentality. Something a coach or extraordinary player can only bring, neither of which have been seen on the current roster.....yet.
