Most Nestdaily users believe power foward is a glaring weakness is our in starting line up. Reggie Evans currently starts, while he is a good rebounder he is not a starting caliber big man. With that said most would come to the conclusion that the nets should trade for a power foward, so let's look at the best options. First, Paul milsap he is a perfect fit in my opinion but it's not feasable to get him with the bare amount of assists we have. Next would be Zach Randolph who would also be great to get but once again we have no where near enough assets to get him either. Last but not least would be Ak47 but once again we wouldn't have enough assets. Here's where the creativity comes in, I believe the best idea would be to move andray blatche to starting power foward, the most common complaints to this argument are that our inside defense would be soft and lack rebounding but that's not neccecarily true. Brook Lopez has been a solid rebounding and defensive big which would compensate for Blatches spotty defense. Plus one of the biggest weakneses of starting Evans is teams sag off of him and this makes scoring inside for Lopez much tougher. With blatche starting teams would not be able to double Lopez as easily. Here comes the best part, we trade hump and teletovic for Andrea bargnani, before leaveing this post here my argument. We all know Bargnani is a horrid rebounder and defender and is very soft. But he is one of the best scoring and shooting bigs in the league. He would be a perfect fit next Evans who would provide the toughness and rebounding that bargnani does not. Bargnani would be able to stretch the court and knock down a ton of threes coming off the bench playing exclusively next to Evans. I believe this is the only feasible option to improving our front court.
