So what is the rest of the season about, since we got nothing at the trade deadline? Well, obviously we want to be either the fourth or the third seed in the playoffs, but there are other things to accomplish. We should find out about our younger/new players. Who stays and who goes, who comes back next year, and who gets burn during the playoffs. Frankly, I like what the Spurs do to rest their aging stars. They pick games that for whatever reasons they just sit the old guys. Sometimes they still win, sometimes they lose, sometimes it rains. Therefore I think we should pick certain games, and play players that we need to find out about, and also showcase possible trade assets. Toko should get some airtime, as should Mirza and Taylor and Brooks. We already know what the rest of the roster brings to the table. I would pick the Memphis game, a game we have little chance to win, and sit Reggie and Wallace a little, and also rest JJ and DWILL a little too. We are on a four year plan, and this is just the end of the first year. We need to get ready for the playoffs, and the off season. GO NETS!
