A little belated, but well worth the wait: NBA TV on Monday posted "The Association" clip where Mirza Teletovic talks about being a child in the war that devastated his homeland of Bosnia in the1990's. As we've noted, the clip is powerful in its portrayal of the depravity of war and how basketball saved him.
As he says in describing what it was like playing ball as the bombs began to fall, " If I have to die, I die. For basketball, I will do anything."
The full episode next airs Tuesday at 6:30pm ET.
