That Bojan Bogdanovic sure can shoot. Consider this, after he scored 25 points on 14 shots, he's shooting 55.4 percent from the two-point range; 43.8 percent from three and 90.6 percent at the foul line in the Euroleague Round of 16. He's now the Euroleague's second leading scorer. In the Turkish League, where the competition is at lower level, he's hitting 59.7 from two, 42.4 from three and 80,6 from the stripe.
Friday's win over Besiktas was vintage Bogdanovic. He was 6-of-10 from two, 2-of-4 from three and 7-of-8 from the stripe. (His last miss at the line ended a streak of 36 straight.) Bogdanovic attacked the rim to put the hosts ahead for good, 71-70, with two minutes to go. With a few seconds left and the Fenerbahce fans singing the team song, he iced it with a pair of free throws. Final score: 78-72. Ilkan Karaman played less than two minutes and hit a three for three points.
