Trade Pierce + Plumlee for Asik + fodder

Asik comes here with something to prove {he's an NBA starter, not just paid like one}. Pierce goes to the Rockets and fills the same role on a contender he was supposed to do here {Luxury scorer, leadership, yada}. The Rockets more or less have to trade Asik, and this way thet get a great savings as Pierce is on his walk {contract up} year and still somewhat effective this year, while Asik has several years left. They can use that space for another piece to put around Howard + Harden. They save face and get the young prospect they desire, as well as the backup center they need. They would also send a warm body to make the contracts match, someone who has another year that they don't want.perhaps Both our outgoing are expendable as Asik is our 40 minute a night young center, and Alan Anderson/AK fill Pierce's minutes. We get a new identity as a defense/rebounding team with AK, Evans, Anderson, Garnett and Asik. That's what we need to cruise into the playoffs. Lopez is untradeable right now until proven healthy. Don't sell low anyway.. Best case scenario Lopez comes back completely healthy. Then we have the situation the Rockets have now. But Asik is better after playing starters minutes every night, and his contract has I year less on it which would make him an easier to move asset. His contract also decreases I believe. If Lopez turns into Todd McCullough, we have Asik . Hey maybe he likes it here and would want to stay in any role. Anyway this is still a big year for us, the East is there for the taking, and we're going nowhere without "D" and rebounding
