Paul Pierce is doubtful tonight in Memphis with a bruised right hand.
#Nets say Paul Pierce is doubtful tonight vs. #Grizzlies.
— Rod Boone (@rodboone) November 30, 2013
Pierce has been struggling as of late, averaging 11 points, three assists, and three rebounds on 30% shooting over the last five games.
Brook Lopez was not on the injury report, so it seems that he will play after returning to the lineup last night. He scored 16 points in 21 minutes against the Rockets. Deron Williams, Jason Terry, and Andrei Kirilenko did not make the trip with the Nets. If Pierce doesn't play, it will be his second missed game and will put the Nets on a pace to lose 168 games to injuries or illness, a little less than last year's "superteam", the Lakers, missed.
For the Grizzlies, only Marc Gasol is listed as inactive. He is recovering from an MCL sprain.
