The Nets announced that Deron Williams, Brook Lopez, Andrei Kirilenko and Jason Terry will not play tonight. No real surprises here, as Williams and Lopez did not travel with the team to Toronto for their game against the Raptors.
#Nets injury update: Shaun Livingston will play tonight at Toronto... Williams, Lopez, Terry and Kirilenko are out.
— Brooklyn Nets (@BrooklynNets) November 26, 2013
There is a bit of good news as Shaun Livingston, who took an elbow to the head on Sunday, will play and start for the Nets tonight.
Brooklyn is on a five-game losing streak, and they're hoping to have that snapped tonight against the Atlantic Division leading Raptors. Unfortunately, there's no sign that Williams, Lopez, Kirilenko or Terry are any closer to returning.
Williams told Rod Boone yesterday that his ankle was swollen and that while he'd like to be out there playing, he won't be.
"My ankles hurt...It's just bad luck," Williams told Boone.
As for timetables, everyone remains day-to-day. The Nets play at home tomorrow night against the Lakers, where they are once again expected to be short-handed.
