The Nets calendar lists five games where the team will wear "alternate home uniforms" which are separate from the "Christmas Short Sleeve Jerseys." The jerseys will be worn March 21 and 28 as well as April 4, 11, and 15, the last home game of the season.
Now, Brian Erni of SNY Nets, with an assist from graphic designer Conrad Burry, believes he's found the design of those uniforms -- short-sleeved jobs that feature a blue and grey motif. No one is confirming they're the real deal, but considering that the design was found on the NBA's media site, it's likely.
So is this Dodger blue or Jay-Z blue? And a similar hue of blue can be found on the borough's official flag. We're going with Dodger blue ... although we're not crazy about the Brooklyn Dodgers' unofficial motto: "Wait till next year!"
