Andray Blatche will make nearly $10 million this season, from amnesty payments and salary. As Brian Windhorst of ESPN reports, the money keeps flowing in.
Blatche reacted to a Joe Johnson three-pointer with 2:40 left in the game. The 27-year-old, perhaps driven by irrational exuberance, made a gesture that seemed to indicate Johnson has an extra large set of cojones. It's a move pioneered by Sam Cassell, a mentor of Blatche's and sometimes called "the Sam Cassell Dance."
Is there anything more to say? Probably not, other than it's not likely to hurt his wallet.
Considering Blatche got $70,800 from the Wizards Friday for not playing for them, it still seems like he's ahead though.— Brian Windhorst (@WindhorstESPN) November 2, 2013
