It was supposed to be a battle of the best European basketball teams this season: Fenerbahce Ulker vs. CSKA Moscow, Mikhail Prokhorov's old team. It didn't take long before Fener took command of the game, led once again by Bojan Bogdanovic, fast becoming one of the biggest stars on the continent. The final score was 86-60.
The 6'8" shooting guard scored 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting, including 2-of-4 from deep. He also went 3-of-3 from the line, grabbed one rebound and handed out one assist. In three Euroleague games, Bogdanovic is averaging 18.3 points on 60 percent shooting from two-point range, 40 percent from deep and 90 percent from the line. In three Turkish League games, he's averaging 19.3.
It was the 10th straight win for Fener this season under legendary European coach Zeljko Obradovic, including Turkish Cup, Turkish League and Euroleague games. Meanwhile, Ilkan Karaman, the Nets other Euro-Stash on the Fener roster reports his rehab from double knee surgery is progressing.
