Williams' ankles continue to be a concern, but, as Devin Kharpertian reports from Duke University, Nets' GM Billy King said the team's goal is to get Williams to a point where he is "as healthy as possible," and they don't want to risk any setbacks in the first week of training camp.
King noted that the most important thing, as Karpertian reports, is for Williams to be fully healthy by October 30, when the regular season kicks off for the Nets in Cleveland.
As for Jason Terry, he's still "limited" due to a kneed injury. According to the team...
Injury report: @Deron Williams (R ankle) - limited; @jasonterry31 (L knee) - limited; Toko (R knee) - OUT; Gary Forbes (illness) - OUT

.@jasonterry31 says he's a week away from returning to contact. "I want to get out there, hit a three, fly around, talk [smack]."

The good news is there are only minor injuries at this point for the Nets, though you always have to be concerned when it comes to D-Will's ankles. But the Nets are taking the proper steps in making sure that he is ready to go when the regular season tips.
