It seems rather fitting that my first ND/SB post would be tied to this. Greetings one and all! This is strictly related to the Nets coming to London for a second time in January 2014. There were some rumors around here that there may be a European version of the Loud and Proud section for the London Games. Or at least some show of healthy support for our beloved Nets. In 2011, D-Will fresh on board, the Nets owned the Raptors in both games (well, the second was a thriller, but still). It pained me to see that my friend and I -then students in the UK, now back in our home country of Romania- were among the very few who actually rooted for the Nets. The British masses were there for the show and the booze, which is understandable, but still a bit annoying.
I know some of you are coming from Ireland and even Singapore (correct me if I'm wrong, I've read those comments a while back), and we're making quite the journey ourselves. While seeing the Nets play is rewarding enough, it's safe to say we'd all want a picture or a quick chat with our favorite players - not to mention yelling "Brooo-klyn" at the top of our lungs!
If there is a topic about this already, please disregard this. If not, let everyone know! What seats are you buying? Let's get organized and get stuff done! Meet and greets, Loud and Proud, etc.
My suggestion, having been to the O2 before, is LEVEL 4A. Tickets there go for about 60 GBP (96$) and have a great side view. Another option would be LEVEL 4B, the very top ring, which is 5 pounds less.
How do people feel about the idea?
Thanks for your time!
