BrooklyKnight performs impossible feat!!!
BrooklyKnight finally showed his awesome superpowers Tuesday when he somehow lodged a basketball in the 24-second clock above the basket. As Ian Eagle said, a normal person (not a superhero) wouldn't have been able to do that in 500,000 attempts.

Nets waive Marko Jaric
Not long after the Nets beat the Celtics, the team waived Marko Jaric, who celebrated his 35th birthday this weekend. Jaric, who was one of Serbia's most decorated basketball players, was a late camp invite.

It was the first time Paul Pierce ever faced the Boston Celtics, with him wearing the black and white colors of the Brooklyn Nets. Brooklyn beat Boston, in their 4th preseason game, 82-80.

Blatche to start in place of resting KG
With Kevin Garnett resting, Andray Blatche likely to get the start at power forward Tuesday vs. the Celtics. He'll join Shaun Livingston, Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce and Brook Lopez. The Nets may also have Jorge Gutierrez back to spell Livingston.
