When the season began Deron felt he had something to prove and it put a lot of pressure on him to perform early on. Wether it was from nagging injuries or fatigue, Deron’s shot wasn’t falling and he had trouble getting to the rim and scoring. This really destroyed his confidence.

Since PJ took over Deron has seemed to regain some of his swagger. At times he really looked like his old self but there were moments where you could tell his confidence wasn’t all there.

In the Knicks game for some reason (I would assume because of how important the game was to the team) Deron’s confidence was as low as it’s been all season. He seemed afraid to shoot even when he was open. It really hurts the Nets offense when he doesn’t take open shots.

Another thing when he does make a couple shots in a row he always comes down and fires up a pull up three. NO MORE PULL UP THREES. I don’t care if he thinks he’s hot those are extremely low percentage shots and he needs to stop taking them.
