According to a D-League source, the Brooklyn Nets will not extend a second 10-day contract to Damion James.

James, who played in just 22 seconds during a 5-game span with the Nets, will return to the Bakersfield Jam. James was initially called up when Gerald Wallace went down with bruised rib.

The source added that James will continue to be monitored for a possible call-up later this season.

James himself tweeted, "They looking for me👀! I'll b back! No grind💪 no shine✨! "

The Nets are not expected to fill the roster spot immediately.
