NBC Sports and HoopsWorld are the first to preview the new and improved Nets.
The more serious, more widely circulated season previews won't come for a few weeks, but the first of the lot, from NBC Sports and HoopsWorld, paint a positive but not wildly enthusiastic picture of the Nets 2012-13 season.
NBC Sports puts the Nets win total at 47, which would be in the franchise's top ten for wins, but might not get the Nets better than a fifth seed in the East and a second or third place finish in the Atlantic.
HoopsWorld polls its writers and finds most of them believing the Nets could finish in the top three of the division, with a couple suggesting the Nets could be the most improved team in the league. Of course, they only won 22 games last season.
