Tom Kaminski, WCBS Chopper 880

The next time Tom Kaminski is flying over Barclays Center he may be shooting fans on the entrance plaza Opening Night rather than construction workers scurrying about below street level. For two years, the WCBS Chopper 880 helicopter pilot has chronicled the progress at the arena from on high, from a time when it was barely more than a hole in the ground in December 2010 to Wednesday when it looked all but finished, the big Barclays Center rooftop sign clearly visible

Inside the arena, the schedule is tighter, although the interior space looks close to being done, as the Nets photo gallery looks. It's even surprising some pundits.
