Assuming the Andray Blatche and Josh Childress make the team (as expected), the Nets payroll will reach $83.5 million, putting them second in the league, according to a survey of sites that track NBA salaries .

They're way behind the Lakers and slightly ahead of the Heat, who may add a guaranteed deal that would put them neck and neck with Brooklyn. The $83.5 million payroll will require Mikhail Prokhorov to pay out a luxury tax of $13.2 million at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Chris Sheridan of Sheridan Hoops asks in a tweet, "Do the Nets have the best 1-thru-15 roster in the ? Maybe" and updates his site's analysis of their off-season moves to prove it.
