Charles Barkley was on Long Island Monday to play a round of golf at Bill Russell's Mentor's Champions Golf Challenge.
Naturally, he took some questions about the Nets and Knicks, who will battle on TNT, where he makes his living, on the night of November 1.
Although he had kind words to say about the Nets, calling them the better New York team, his comments on the Knicks are what made news. "They must think it's 1995. It's 2012," Barkley said of the Knicks off-season additions. "They went out and got 92-year-old Jason Kidd and 92-year-old Marcus Camby."
