Deron Williams said shortly after signing his contract that he's like to get his teammates into the PNY Center around September 15, two weeks before training camp begins. He noted that the new players --there could be as many as 10--- would need a lot of time on the court together.

It's September 10 and it's seems like things are even ahead of schedule. D-Will posted the above image early Monday afternoon. We see Williams and Brook Lopez, Kris Humphries, C.J. Watson, Jerry Stackhouse (in the sweatshirt), Keith Bogans (in the white t-shirt) and Marshon Brooks even though he's headed to Moscow on Tuesday! Word is that Monday was not the first day this has been going on.

Gary Sussman, who's been around since the days of Dr. James Naismith, tweets, "Informal workouts at PNY today ... most rotation players I can recall this early in September...#hello brooklyn." Later, Jeremy Bettle, the Nets strength and conditioning coach, added, "the guys looked GREAT today! Can't wait for the season now!"
