With Fratello Watching, Toko Torches Ukraine In "Friendly" Tournament

Mike Fratello coaches the Ukrainian National Team in the summer and on Thursday night, he got an up close and personal look at Tornike Shengelia as Georgia beat Ukraine, 95-69. Shengelia scored 23 points on 8-for-11 shooting, including 3-for-4 from downtown, to go along with five rebounds, seven assists and three steals.

In Trieste, Italy, Bojan Bogdanovic in his second game back from suspension scored 17 points as Croatia beat Italy by two, also in a Eurobasket warm-up. Bogdanovic didn't shoot particularly well, going 4-for-13, missing all four of his shots from deep, but scored the go-ahead basket with two seconds to go. Ilkan Karaman's Turkish team fell to Serbia, 89-79, in Belgrade, Serbia. Karaman had seven points and seven rebounds in the loss.
