The Nets have yet to release their preseason schedule, but it's been reported that they will open with a game against the Knicks on Oct. 9 at Nassau Coliseum.

And now we get a few more details. The Celtics released their preseason schedule on Thursday, and it includes two games against the Nets: Tuesday, Oct. 16 in Boston and Thursday, Oct. 18 in Brooklyn, an 8 p.m. start.

Neither the Knicks or Sixers have released their preseason schedule, but New York won't play any preseason games at Madison Square Garden, with the latest phase of MSG renovations not being complete until late October.

The Celtics open October 5 in Istanbul, where they will take on Fenerbahce Ulker, led by Bojan Bogdanovic.
