Hilton Armstrong, who worked out for the Nets alongside Eddy Curry Wednesday, announced Thursday morning that he is joining Panathianakos of Greece. Armstrong tweeted his decision.
Armstrong, 27, also participated in the Nets free agency camp earlier this summer and had been a Nets target coming out of UConn in 2006. He was a lottery pick by the Hornets and has since played for the Kings, Rockets, Wizards and Hawks as well as Asvel in France last season.
