Brook Lopez ended his three-day tour of the Philippines Monday by bringing food and other supplies to one of Manila's poorest neighborhoods and spending time with the area's youngest fans. As chronicled by the NBA Philippines Twitter feed, Lopez did everything from unload the truck to run a clinic for kids half his size.
Lopez visited Barangay Napindan as part of NBA Cares. Earlier in the month, he spent time with kids in Northern Ireland as part of Peace Players International. He's become so popular among Filipinos that he was asked if he'd be interested in joining their national team. He said it was an interesting opportunity.
