The FIBA Eurobasket Qualifying Tournament is in full swing Saturday with all four of the "Euro-Nets" winning their games and one putting on a show.
Mirza Teletovic took the Netherlands apart, scoring 33 points on 12-for-21 shooting, including 7-for-13 from deep. He also grabbed six rebounds and recorded four steals in Bosnia's 107-89 win. Teletovic kept Bosnia in the game early, with 26 points in the first half. In fact, the Netherlands were ahead by one at the half before Bosnia went on a 48-15 run.
Bojan Bogdanovic's Croatia blew out Cyprus, 93-38 in a late game. The Nets' 2011 draft pick finished with 17 points, taking six three-pointers, making four, in 27 minutes. Earlier Tornike Shengelia's Georgia defeated Romania,, 80-64. Shengelia finished with nine points and nine rebounds while shooting 33.3% overall and from three. Turkey also beat Belarus, 77-74, with Ilkan Karaman scoring five points, grabbing five rebounds and finishing with a +12 plus/minus.
On Tuesday, Teletovic and Bosnia face Shengelia and Georgia while Bogdanovic and Croatia face Mike Fratello's Ukraine.
