If the trade, as currently structured, goes down, the Nets would get Dwight Howard, Chris Duhon, Jason Richardson, and Earl Clark from Orlando. Richardson is owed $18.6 million over three, Duhon $3.25 million, Clark $1.2 million.
The Nets would send Brook Lopez, Damion James, Shelden Williams and picks to the Magic, as well as Kris Humphries, Sundiata Gaines, picks and cash to the Cavaliers. MarShon Brooks would likely go to the Clippers in return for a pick. Ken Berger adds that Armon Johnson would also go to Orlando, meaning all four of the Nets own free agents would be dealt.
"Talks between the Magic and Nets remain fluid with some of the deal's parts moving in and out based on different scenarios," Wojnarowski writes.
Ric Bucher in an interview with Ryan Ruocco said that he expects Howard in Brooklyn very soon. Bucher also reports that the two sides have exchanged medical records on the two principals but both would have to be examined by their new team's doctors before a deal was closed.
In Las Vegas, Deron Williams told reporters, "We'll have a good team without him. We'll have an even better team with him."
