Everybody seems to wearing their gear. Jay-Z you can expect. THE Justin Beiber, model Melanie Iglesias and actor Ed Burns? Now we're talking a diverse lot! And they were all rocking the gear before this week's rapid fire events. Between July 1 and July 3, Brett Yormark reports enormous business.
Barclays Center sold roughly 500 new season tickets on Tuesday, turning in a one-day, seven-figure haul, Brett Yormark told Stefan Bondy. That was the day Deron Williams announced that he was staying in New York (and the day after the Joe Johnson trade).
Yormark hinted some of the sales were due to rumors that Dwight Howard might be on the way. "We’re seeing a tremendous response to what right now is what-if scenarios, but also to a team that is finally taking shape," Yormark said.
