I really like how the team is shaping up, but I am also thinking of ways to keep improving. With limited cap room and a need for an interior presence/intimidating big i think two inexpensive guys we should take a look at are brandon wright and yancy gates.

Wright is long, mobile, athletic and would not be asked to do anything more than roam the paint block shots and finish at the rim, all things he is capable of.

Gates, while he was involved in that ugly brawl at cincy is a beast and I don't think that should be what he is known for it was a one time mistake that he can definitely move on from, plus I've always liked his game. 6' 9" 287 lbs fairly mobile, very strong and long with a 7'3" wingspan and i think playing and learning from a vet like reggie evans could help him grow as a player he has a reggie evans physique with more talent and ability on the offensive end, he is a good finisher with power and also has a soft touch and I think could be a great fit next to lopez.
