It appears as if the roster of the Brooklyn Nets is fairly set in stone at this point, at least the major parts. As currently constructed, here is what the roster looks like:
So the only major parts that need to be filled in are a backup SF and a defensive-minded, rebounding C for cheap. The rest will probably be filled with league minimum players.
Unfortunately it looks like acquiring Dwight Howard is impossible at this point (barring a miraculous trade), so we can assume that this is what the Nets roster will look like for the most part.
My question is, where do you believe the Nets will finish in the East this year with this squad? I'm not talking playoff performance, just regular season finish. I realize it's very tough to predict this because other teams have yet to add major pieces, but in all likelihood, most of the teams will remain fairly similar except for maybe the Pacers and Magic.
