Fire Billy King? Part 2...

Many months ago I made a post on NetsDaily that called for the firing of Billy King. I remarked that I did not think it was a good idea for Billy to be waiting and wishing for Dwight Howard to come to the Nets. I wanted Billy to make moves now, get players now, with the intention of enticing D-Will to stay. I was convinced that D-Will would be gone from the Nets franchise because Billy did very little to keep him around.

Tonight, I am happy to say that I was wrong. I am overjoyed to learn that D-Will is not only staying but that we also have a great player in Joe Johnson, a re-signed Gerald Wallace, and perhaps several more talented players to come (one could even be Dwight Howard!). In my original post, I said that I would admit it if I was ever proven wrong for doubting Billy. Now, I am proud to admit that I was wrong.

I feel that it is only fitting for me to post this awesome article singing Billy's praises to end my post. I am very excited for the new era in Nets basketball. The future is certainly bright in Brooklyn. Well done, Billy. Well done.
