I notice that a lot of posters are concerned that Deron Williams has yet to sign. This is obviously a concern, but what if he already decided? Numerous comments throughout the site reflect a general view that Billy King has kept Deron Williams in the loop on the offseason moves. I am wondering if it is also possible that at the meeting with the Nets, Deron Williams told Billy King that he would sign and BK asked Deron to keep the news underwraps so that the Nets would have the lead on other teams in pursuing players. That way, a team like Dallas would have to keep financial flexibility in order to accommodate Deron Williams' contract with the hope that he would join that team. I'm not saying that DW's Dallas meeting was done in bad faith; instead, I am saying that after he met with the Nets maybe he made his decision and then the agreed-upon party line was that he was still undecided. Just a thought.
