As we all know, Dwight Howard has requested a trade to our Nets. This speaks volumes about the growing popularity of our team and the importance of our new location, Brooklyn.
But does it say something more important, about Deron Williams?
Think about this: Would Dwight demand a trade here if we didn't have Deron Williams? I say that he wouldn't. So does this mean that he thinks or knows that Deron is going to stay here? Because he must know that Deron is going to make his decision before Dwight gets traded.
If Deron signs with Dallas, does Dwight rescind his trade demand and try to stay in Orlando? Does he demand a trade to a terrible Brooklyn team? Does he go back on himself AGAIN and even further ruin his image?
All I'm trying to say is, I think that Dwight knows or at least has a strong feeling that Deron is going to re-sign. And that's the most important thing for the Nets at this point.
