Deron Williams got his first start for the U.S. National Team on Thursday and responded with 19 points and five assists in an easy 118-78 victory over Great Britain in Manchester.

Williams played less than 20 minutes and scored 14 of his 19 early in the third quarter, hitting three straight threes and then another a couple of possessions later. He shot 7-for-8 overall, including 5-for-6 from downtown, adding a rebound and two steals.
