Humphries two year deal? Josh Smith is in his final year of his contract, why not deal for him in December?

With the acquisition of Joe Johnson and Humphries resigning to a two year contract worth 24 million dollars, the Nets are looking at a potential starting 5 that is deep. If we truly are going to resemble the 2004 Pistons squad, a player of Smith's caliber would put us at that level. So maybe Atlanta can do us another favor in taking Humphries (soon to be expiring contract at that point) and Brooks for Smith.

Williams, JJ, Wallace,Smith, and Lopez(healthy of course) would be a formidable team in the east that'll give Miami fits. I'm tired of the Howard drama and garbage, let him go to LA, we can still build a championship team here in Brooklyn that can compete for years to come. What are your thoughts on this? If not Smith, what about Love, Gay, or Granger?
