The Brooklyn Nets should really change their name from the Nets to the Brooklyn Dodgers. I think it would bring a lot of fan support in the area - beyond the average basketball fan - the nostalgia of the name would capture a lot of hearts both in and out of the Brooklyn area. The Nets, to many, represent a franchise that was often thought of as a bad organization and bad teams - they were the East Coast Clippers. While they look to improve and have a fresh start in a new city, I think they should leave the old name behind and take back a name that was taken from them many years ago (albeit a different sport). I think it would bring a lot of positive support.
