It will be difficult to avoid Joe Johnson this weekend. The Nets are making a concerted effort to roll out Johnson as the next big sports star in New York.

Johnson will move from Friday's "Brooklyn Backcourt" press conference/celebration at Borough Hall Plaza to an interview with Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts at 3:45 p.m. Then on to Yankee Stadium to throw out the first pitch Friday night.

He'll also be the subject of Steve Serbys Q&A in the Sunday Post and a Sunday spread in.Daily News as well.

Finally, he'll be a guest on Miked Up with Bruce Beck Sunday night at 11:30 pm on WNBC, Channel 4 New York.
