I have an interesting take on the G force trade that may make us feel a little better. First and foremost it is important to note that we traded Extra E and Okur who were of no value to us (Extra E actually had negative value because it was a 2 year deal). We also received a TE (2?) that will definitely help us resign double G. Finally let’s consider last year’s draft when the San Antonio Spurs traded G. Hill for the 15th pick (leonard) straight up. Yes, SA liked Hill but he’s an okay player. My point is Gerald Wallace is a much better player than he is AND we took off extra E’s bad contract off our books. Yeah I am disappointed we don’t have a lottery pick but I think King made a rational decision. Gerald Wallace is a former all star talent after all. Your thoughts on this view of this trade?
