In the latest reporting on Deron Williams plans, Chris Broussard writes, "there are increasing signs that Williams, the most coveted free agent on this summer's market, will stay put. He has been working out almost daily at the Nets' practice facility in New Jersey, often going through shooting drills with Avery Johnson. Sources say he has also discussed strategies for next season with Johnson."
Moreover, Johnson was one of a handful of people who attended Williams "small and intimate" birthday party in New York Tuesday and that the two are very close. Broussard reports as well that Williams is not planning to visit or meet with any teams once the league allows clubs to begin recruiting players on Sunday. However, Broussard, who has long been Williams favorite reporter, says he has not yet made up his mind.
