The Nets have yet to work out anyone beyond the 30+ second rounders they had in for a mass workout last month. Now, a French blogger is reporting that Negueba Samake, a seven-footer from the African country of Mali, will work out for them this week. He's also working out for the Jazz, Raptors, Hawks and Lakers. Samake would a be a candidate for the Nets #57 pick and if selected would likely be stashed in Europe for a year. He's described as raw but very athletic. Nets got their first look at him at the Adidas EuroCamp earlier this month. Here's video of a recent workout with his French team.
