Not sure if this has been said already

First of all, I want to wish all of the dads on NetsDaily a Happy Father's Day!

Second, I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that Deron is officially back from his trip to LA. I don't know if he posted about his return to New York on twitter or not, but he's back in NYC. As I was with my family in downtown NYC today, Deron, along with his wife and one of his kids, walked right by me. Upon picking up my jaw from the sidewalk, I shouted his name, and Deron turned, smiled, and waved.

I am not one of those Nets fans that are standing on the ledge, ready to jump because I think Deron is going to leave us. While I am also not someone who thinks he's definitely resigning, I do think it is a very good sign that during the off-season, Deron is living full-time in NYC, especially in the closest part of Manhattan to Brooklyn. Also, today is one of the biggest family-oriented days of the year, and instead of spending it with his family in his hometown of Dallas, he spent it in New York. I truly do not think Deron really knows exactly where he is going to sign. However, from everything he has said and done so far this off-season, it seems like he is leaning towards resigning with the Nets. We may not necessarily give him the best chance at winning (at least for right now), but Deron seems to really love living in New York City. With all of the endorsements he has (and the many more he will get if he stays), along with the fact that he has already moved his family here, it makes sense for him to resign with the Nets.

I know this post really doesn't tell you guys much, but I just thought everyone would like to know even the smallest of details about Deron and what might happen, because I know that I would definitely want to know.
