No other fan base in the National Basketball Association deserves a star like Deron Williams more than we do. The majority of us, die hard New Jersey Nets fans turned Brooklynites, are following a down trodden team across the Hudson into, what we hope, is a new beginning. Others, are "Brooklyn Ready" to welcome a franchise to the most diverse Borough in New York City.

Together, we must unite and demonstrate to our star (because he is still technically ours) that he is wanted. Whether this has zero impact on his desire to pick Brooklyn is irrelevant. If we get his attention, get one re-tweet, get one direct message, we know the message was received: Brooklyn Wants Deron. And we will not sleep until he takes his talents to Brooklyn.
