It's started again. Dennis Horner, who was called up from Springfield after the Nets lost front court players to injury, has broken his foot and underwent successful surgery in New York Tuesday. Like Damion James, Brook Lopez and Shawne Williams, Horner will have a screw inserted in his foot. He was hurt while working out at the D-League Combine in Chicago last week.
Horner, who was one of the top power forwards in the D-League, had been invited to play with the Nets' summer league in Orlando next month. With his injury, he won't be able to play.
