Deron Williams Confidence Poll

Stay connected for news and updates

I know that I’m kind of iffy when it comes to confidence of Deron Williams signing with the Nets this off-season. But, I wanted to see how confident Netsdaily users are about D-Will staying with the Nets. Here are some reports that have come out that are about Deron Williams.

Stefan Bondy (NY Daily News) - "From everything I've been hearing, Deron Williams is leaning toward re-signing with the Nets. There's still a lot that can happen, though." –Via Twitter

ESPN (ESPN.com) - Mavericks have 50-50 shot at landing Deron Williams. "Sources close to the situation told ESPN.com this week that the Mavs were convinced early on in their 2012 planning that having sufficient salary-cap space to be able to legitimately recruit Dwight Howard alongside Williams was the surest route to landing Williams. .... One source well-acquainted with Williams' thinking told ESPN.com this weekend that the Mavericks, in their current state, have no better than a "50-50 shot" of getting D-Will's signature in July ... despite the fact that the Nets aren't any closer to landing Howard than they are."

Stephen A. Smith (ESPN Radio) - SAS is very confident that Deron Williams is staying. Stephen A. said to Omar from Brooklyn "You call me when Deron Williams is in Dallas". I think SAS is close to 100% confident that Deron is staying.

Chris Broussard (ESPN) - For some reason Broussard is sure that D-Will will be in Dallas next year. He said just last week "The next time Deron Williams is in Brooklyn, he will be in a Mavericks uniform. " I don’t know how 2 NBA Insiders (SAS and Broussard) can be so far apart. Probably because nobody knows where Deron wants to go, including Deron himself!

Billy King and Avery Johnson- Both of these guys are saying they are "confident" that Deron stays. Neither of them say why they think so.

Please vote below and comment on why you are so confident.
