Brian Schmitz reports that both Magic CEO Alex Martins and GM Otis Smith say that Dwight Howard has not asked for a trade but owner Rich DeVos also told him the Magic will not deal with another Dwightmare.

Smith recently visited Howard in Los Angeles, where he's recovering from surgery on a herniated disk. DeVos told Schmitz before Game 3, "We have to keep the big man," but added, "We won’t go through that again," referring to the drama surrounding Howard’s free agency last season. Schmitz said the Magic will ask Howard "at some point this summer" if he intends to sign long term with the Magic.

Various reports have suggested that if Howard dawdles, the Magic will again entertain offers for him.
